I joined interns as my next logical step to serve the church and to strengthen my relationship with God. Interns encouraged me to step out of my shell and interact with people I would not normally interact with, and I found myself learning and expanding my capacity as I went. I also found great friendship with my fellow interns as we all went spent this time learning together.
Internship program was one of the best things I did when I returned back to church and my faith. It gave me an insight in God that I had never had before. As well as becoming a better version of myself by gaining confidence in all areas in my life like how to communicate with people and go outside my comfort zone. My faith is now a relationship in God who has blessed me in so many ways that I’ve lost count.
I joined interns wanting to know about God and how to build a better relationship with him. Little did I know I would learn so much more! I was challenged to constantly step out of my comfort zone and seek opportunities to grow and learn. I grew stronger in my faith, made friendships that will last a life time and learnt valuable leadership skills that help me to lead in both work and church life. 🙂
