Baptism Sunday

Sunday, 27th August 2017

Come along for an awesome day in the life of the church as we celebrate and champion those who have made the decision to be water baptised. If you are ready to be baptised, contact us!

Water Baptism is one of the most important ‘practices’ Jesus told us to observe. It is an outward display of critical things happening in your life.

(i)             OBEDIENCE

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

(ii)            FAITH

Acts 8:36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch (King’s servant) said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” 37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

(iii)           FORGIVENESS

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of (turn away from doing)your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

·         If you need to be baptised contact us!
